The Integrity Recovery House became a Pilot Study concept in the fall of 2006. The model combines recovery house living with intensive outpatient treatment at a nearby location. The model gives New Mexico the first gambling specific facility of its kind that offers this level of care in an affordable format while delivered in a high quality setting. The first house opened in July of 2007 and the second, Rainbow Recovery House in March of 2008.
The Integrity Recovery House mission is to provide the best possible chance of early recovery from gambling addiction through our in house support, while providing a safe, supportive and structured living environment.
Support from the pueblos of Sandia, Santa Ana, and Laguna, as well as from the member tribes of the Responsible Gaming Association of New Mexico, made the Integrity House possible.
The inspiration to begin Integrity Recovery House came from a seed planted by Delyliah Felipe of Acoma Pueblo who verbalized what many of us had been thinking but had not yet acted upon.
